Goodbye to Yves Saint Laurent

During the 1960s and 1970s, the Yves Saint Laurent was involved with popularizing fashion trends such as the beatnik look, safari jackets for men and women, tight pants and tall, thigh-high boots, including the creation of arguably the most famous classic tuxedo suit for women in 1966, Le Smoking suit.

All these are very relevant in fashion now. Pretty crazy that some of the most popular trends these days are all directly linked to Yves Saint Laurent. It's sad to see a fashion legend pass on.

Hey Jocelyn! It's Anna -- your client with all that makeup shoptalk! (haha) I love Yves Saint Laurent!! In fact, I've made a pact to celebrate my bday each time, with a YSL-inspired look from now on. (He died on my birthday.) :(
