Professional photos

A new friend of mine is a professional photographer.  Aubrie Pick  is so sweet and adorable, she looks just like Anna Paquin who I adore as well.   She found this great spot while walking her dog and asked me to be the model in which I happily obliged.  We shot the photos at dusk, the lighting was so amazing.  This shot is just the first of many that she has edited so there is way more to come.  This shot was actually one of the last shots, we had not planned on shooting in front of this door, it was a after thought.  The other shots were on stairs, balconies and the driveway at this old apartment building.  I had so much fun modeling, I wish I had someone to do my outfit photos all the time!   I styled the outfit, makeup and hair.  Sorry the picture is so small, thats how it came to me via Facebook.

What I want to wear for spring!

I made a fun little set to enter a contest Via Gala Darling for modcloth.  For spring, I am really feeling girly, frilly with a bit of rugged toughness and natural elements.

Sorry my posts are lagging, I have been going through some personal things and have some stuff to take care of.

In better news, I also have something really amazing to look forward to this weekend.  A amazing photographer, Alex Farnum who lives on my block is doing a 2 day shoot for a new batch of portraits and I am blessed to be one of the models.  He is a extremely well published and just won a photography award.  Please check out his work, it's stunning!  Did I mention how excited I am.  I did some modeling when I was younger and have always loved being photographed, even though I do it myself now which is hard.  Wish me luck with having a good hair/makeup/body day!

Summer outtakes in Black and White

I have recently been reading The Photodiarist who takes lovely pictures and uses Black and White as the medium for the main blog (there is also a colored photo blog).  I was inspired to go through some of my photos that didn't make it to the blog and turn them in to Black and White.  For some reason Black and White photos are so appealing to my eye.  I don't know if it's because they invoke a vintage feel but I think that might be it for me. The most amazing photos ever

666 Photography blows my mind.   Based in Austin TX, 666 makes all their sets from the ground up, as well as making hand made props and clothing.  Anyone can get shot by 666 all you need is money, and a flight to Austin.  It is my dream to do a 20's shoot like the one you see down there a bit.  Check out the myspace........
