Crafting helper!
I dumped out a bag of fake flowers as I was working on my costume for halloween, and I told David, as Sam was walking towards me that I bet he will lay down right in the middle. Boy, do I know my guy. I immediately grabbed the camera and got some great shots. I might try to submit one to "stuff on my cat".

I want! Rodarte!

I am a bit obsessed with the crocheted tights that Rodarte showed for fall 08. I want to try to make some but it seems like a challenge. Maybe I can make some really long leg warmers with ribbon ties at the top to wear in a similar way. I spotted this group of people at dinner last night and i liked the tights that the girl with the candle is wearing. Her way might be a easier option, maybe I should just go crazy with the rips and tears. I already did this to another pair earlier. That pair was a thicker almost sweater like texture which worked really well.

That time of year!
I know a lot of my friends are gearing up for burning man, so I thought I would put together some of my favorite things on etsy for the burn. This is a short list of sellers, if you go to thier respecctive stores, there is much more to see. I hope it's a fun year at the burn for whoever is making it and don't forget to be safe!!

Renegade Craft Fair
Im getting ready to go to the Renegade Craft fair. Updates later! If you want to go the website is here.
UPDATE!!
Here is a picture of part of the fair. I have to say I thought there was some really cool things but weren't as many innovative things as I expected from San Francisco. After living in Seattle for 10 years and knowing many artists and seamstress's I must say Seattle is more creative. Hmmm, I wonder why that is. I guess it could be that people are inside all the time due to crappy weather in the winter, fall and spring or the fact that is it less expensive to live there so there are more artist types. I did see the guy from the Threadbanger shows and meet the rep from Janome, that was my fave part, she was cool!

Yaaaay a blog finally

I am so excited to start this blog. I have had the idea for a while and am now, finally, getting the ball rolling.
I'm going to be discussing and adding as much as possible, fashion pics of people on the street as well as my friends and I's personal style, clothing I have designed, and jewelry and other accessories. I will be adding links to trends and other stuff I think is amazing!
I am also a hair designer at G-Squared here in San Francisco, so periodically there will be pictures of hair cuts and or color that I have created. And last but not least, photos of other crafty things I have created as well. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
The very first picture is, of corse, me wearing my invention called a bustle belt. Here you can only see the back, the front is a typical belt with a large buckle
