A friend of mine had a fancy birthday party at Harry Denton's starlight room. Everyone was looking dapper. I decided to go with a 40's look inspired by the notebook. I love that movie, it's so romantic. I cry every time. I must have been looking good because every gross guy in the place was groping me on the dance floor, why do guys think that is o.k? It was a fun night, groping aside! How about that guy behind me, he is serious!

Necklace/earrings/bracelet-Vintage from Josephine's estate
I am so excited to say that the brand new salon I am going to be working for passed the final inspection today. That means we will be opening in a few days and I couldn't be more excited. All the stress of waiting and having no income is about to come to a close. The salon is beautiful, modern, colorful and in a amazing location. I am already in love with my coworkers too, which is so pleasant.
This is a outfit I wore a class at the salon yesterday. I was really digging this outfit. This might be one that I repeat again maybe with different accessories. I tend to never wear the same thing twice but this dress and shirt are a great combo, if I do say so myself.
Dress-Vintage (shortened and cut off sleeves)
Shirt-Old Navy (couple years ago)
Necklace- Pendant was a gift from a friend (it's actually a Xmas ornament) I made into a necklace
MotoBoots-I got at a mall store many years ago and still adore them, they are my most worn in shoes that I bought brand new.
I have been creating lots of feather crafts and really enjoying the process. The latest is this necklace that I am wearing. I am really happy with the way it turned out! I also just found out I am doing a fashion show of my designs on July 31st, the first one in 3 years. I need to get busy!

Pretty Pirate Designs is the name of my clothing line, Etsy shop and blog. My friend Ian started calling me and some other pretty ladies pretty pirates a few summers ago, in the midst of all kinds of fun on a island outside of Seattle. I thought it was so fun and cute that I renamed my clothing line after it. Thanks ur a peeing Ian!
The real pretty pirate is a student of life, follower of the light, hairstylist, clothing designer, jewelry designer and artist. I love beauty and can see it in everything and everyone. I live in San Francisco where the love is always happening.
