This outfit is thrown together haphazardly.  I am wearing my dude friends button up, my vintage belt, vintage dress, grey leggings with snaps down at the bottom and vintage dexter boots.  My cat is eating on his own again, so we are really happy.  This means that his feeding tube will come out soon!

Got my hair did

I have been gradually lightening my hair, I got more highlights added today and toned them to stay lighter than the rest of my hair.  Our receptionist at the salon is wanting to go to beauty school, so we are letting her do our hair as we teach her.  She did a great job today, I love how it turned out.  I did all the formulations for the color and taught her to weave instead of slice the hair for the foils.  My hair is also straight here, and it's finally getting long enough that the layers look good blown out, with out flat ironing.   Yaaaa!

  I am wearing a vintage dress that I shortened, vintage and new necklaces, Hue capri lace leggings and Mia gladiator heels.  I am so ready for colder weather, even though San Francisco is officially having our summer right now.  I just want to wear layers and boots and coats and tights and scarves!

Outfit for saturday night

This outfit is almost all thrifted.  I got the shorts a while ago but had yet to wear them.  The blouse is amazing black lace that I found a few months ago, it's very old.  Belt is from etsy seller Daisy fairbanks, and its quite amazing as well.  The boots are also from etsy (candy shoes).

The sweater coat is new as of last week and thrifted as well.  The only new thing I am wearing are the tights I picked up at marshal's a couple days ago.  I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Outfit for today

I'm back to resorting to my photobooth for my outfit pics.  Gotta love my Mac!  My kitty is doing so much better now!  He is so sweet and has been through so much.  I'm glad he is still with us, I love the little guy!

Fairy Wonderland!!

I just looked through the photos of the new spring 09 collection from  Koi Suwannagate and it is so feminine and pretty.  I love the muted colors and the silhouettes.  I want them all!!   All the pieces remind me of my favorite festival, the Oregon Country Fair,  in Veneta OR.  This place is not you regular county fair, its a country fair, and more like a fairly wonderland.  Click the link to see some photos of the amazingness that is OCF.

Kitty Saga Update

My kitty needs lots of care as in feeding him 5 times a day, via his new built in feeding tube.  The force feeding at home was not working (via last post)  So now he has a tube that we hook up the feeding syringe.  I will try to post something soon, but just a warning that things around here are a bit different for a while until my kitty is better.  He was diagnosed with "fatty liver"  which is a form of liver failure due to not eating enough food.   As soon as he starts eating normally again we can remove the tube.

My cat got sick this week.  He has a form of liver failure that is treatable with food.  So I have to give him an IV once a day for fluids and 3 times a day I have to force feed him with a feeding syringe.  I was so worried at the vet all day yesterday that something major was wrong, and so relieved to find out that he will be ok.  We still need to get the blood tests to make sure nothing else is wrong but for now I think he will be ok.  He is the sweetest cat I have ever known and I want him to be around for a while.  After our crazy day at the vet we went out and this is what I wore.

I finally got the leggings I have been wanting from American Apparel. I ended up getting the high waisted Lame Matte black and I am in love!  I am also wearing the dress I made a few months ago as well as Jessica Simpson shoes (they are actually rad).
