Día de los Muertos

The day of the dead celebration in San Francisco is my favorite event I've attended here thus far.   People are so festive and decked out.   What a beautiful way to celebrate all our loved ones who have passed on.  The altars people made were stunning.  My friend Eliza made one for her step father who was a falconer and passed away many years ago.  If you live in the area and haven't been to this event I highly recommend you go next year, it's stunning.  Sorry some of the pictures are blurry, my camera died after the parade so all the pictures of the altars and party in the park are with my Iphone.

Eliza and I (I made my headdress yesterday for the event and wore one of my favorite vintage floor length dresses from the 30s.)

This altar was so amazing, I wish I had been able to get a better shot
